General Admission Requirements for Inter-University Transfer

To be eligible for the Inter-university transfer, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • ‘O’ level result with a minimum of five credits including Mathematics and English in not more than two sittings.
  • Student copy of academic transcript with a minimum grade point average of 2.40 CGPA (Second class lower) on a 5.0 scale.

Candidates will also be required to request an Official Academic Transcript from their current institution to be sent to admissions@miva.university.

100 level admission requirements for BSc. in Accounting

A copy of your O’Level result.
The result must include a minimum of five credits in the following subjects in not more than two sittings:

  • English Language
  • Mathematics
  • Economics
  • Two other subjects

Direct entry admission requirements for BSc. in Accounting

A copy of any of the following results:

  • Two (2) 'A' Level passes chosen from Accounting, Economics, Business Studies/Management, Government and Geography.
  • Two (2) IJMB passes, one (1) of which must be in Accounting, Economics or Business Management.
  • Complete pass in the Intermediate ICAN examination or equivalent (AAT, ACCA, ATS final certificate).
  • Lower credit pass in ND/NCE in related fields.
  • Very good passes in three (3) JUPEB subjects: Economics, and any two (2) of Financial Accounting, Business Studies/Management, Government and Geography.
